How Anvil's Document AI e-signature feature works
Here’s a quick overview:
- AI Field Detection: Anvil Document AI scans your document and detects all the necessary fields—whether it’s a scanned PDF, a Word doc, or a Google Doc. It can spot signature fields, initials, dates, and fillable fields like name, email, and phone numbers, along with radio buttons and checkbox groups.
- Signer Identification: After finding the fields, the AI identifies the signers (e.g., employee and employer, buyer and seller) based on the document context.
- Field Assignment: The AI assigns the appropriate fields to each signer. For example, employee details and signatures are automatically assigned to the employee, while company information and employer signatures go to the employer representative.
